New city, no friends, sick house and a birthday impending, I invited everyone near and far to come in costume. They sure did and a reputation was born. Transforming The Greenhouse was my favorite past time. From the Deep Sea Disco to Lucha Libre, outrageous fun was had. Here I realized my passion for transforming spaces and immersive experience. Making art and dressing up and dancing with your friends is so important! In Mexico a couple of major bangers came through… the inaguration of El Bosque Escondido and the legendary Espiral Surreal, both of which were huge collaborations of many artists. There aren’t even photos of the first, pura presencia y amor del arte. Shortly after I found my way into festivals and had my mind blown, obviously. Who knew? Life is a party :)
